Reproductive Endocrinologist Dr. Barbara Stegmann, of Aspire Fertility, shares some of the reasons women choose to freeze their eggs, along with the process, during a recent interview on Good Day Houston. Some of the reasons include:
· Chemotherapy received during Cancer treatment, which kills what’s left in the ovaries
· Women wanting to focus on establishing their career before having children
· Women haven’t found the right partner to have kids with yet
Egg freezing is also not that expensive to do, and helps many women conceive well into their 40s and 50s because they chose to freeze their eggs years earlier.
